Kids Creative Lab is an educational project for children attending primary schools in Italy, designed by OVS and Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice.

Kids Creative Lab aims at introducing children to the practice of art and at encouraging their creativityas a fundamental tool for their emotional and intellectual development.

Participation is free and open to all children, both with their school and individually. Materials can be obtained from this internet site and from OVS stores upon request.

In the workshop section (Laboratori) each child can find information and tools to realize his/her own work of art and share it in the section I vostri lavori (your works).

Kit d’Artista (Artist’s kit) is a special initiative: by following the instructions, each child can realize his/her own work and see it exposed alongside with the works of all other participants in a great collective exhibition at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, from 24 April to 6 May 2013.

The school participating with the highest number of students to “Kit d’artista” will be awarded a prize: 10 tablets donated by Asus for the school.

Kids Creative Lab has received a letter of commendation by the Italian Ministry for Education, University and Research.

This site is currently available in Italian only.

Even if you are a parent, a teacher or a child living outside Italy, please visit the site. Its contents are mostly visual and you might be able to follow the workshops and realize the artist kit by following the video tutorial and the instructions, but unfortunately we cannot accept your registration to download the materials and upload your works.

Thank you for your visit and have fun!
