Kids Creative Lab is a project dedicated to children attending Italian primary schools, organized by OVS and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and this year in collaboration with the Italian Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 and the patronage of the School Project, Expo Milano 2015

Kids Creative Lab has become an event eagerly anticipated by Italian primary schools. In 2014 it engaged 300,000 children, 12,000 classes, and 2,000 schools, culminating in the creation of a collective work that was exhibited at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, where it was seen by more than 40,000 visitors.

In 2015 Kids Creative Lab again presents an exciting new program titled Arte-Coltura developed in collaboration with the Italian Pavilion at the Expo Milano 2015 and the patronage of the School Project, Expo Milano 2015.

The workshop promotes children’s awareness, through art, of important issues of nature, agriculture, and farming—the focus and theme of Expo Milano 2015.

The approach is multidisciplinary, inclusive, and participatory: out of individual contributions, a single collective installation will be created, a metaphor for the shared activities and a participatory project whereby “I becomes we”.

The project is free. All elementary school children can participate with their school or individually with the help of their parents. Please read the instructions in Arte-Coltura.
